Postdoctoral Fellow in Neural Circuits and Behaviors
One or two NIH grant supported postdoctoral fellow positions are available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Haijiang Cai in the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Arizona, Tucson. The research of the lab focuses on the neural circuits and mouse behaviors, using optogenetics, chemogenetics, in vivo calcium imaging, molecular and brain slice electrophysiological tools. Candidate should hold a Ph.D. in neuroscience or related fields upon the start date. The candidate is expected to:
* Perform independent and collaborative research projects on the neural circuits of mouse behaviors, learn and use molecular, histology, optogenetics, chemogenetics, and electrophysiology tools.
* Analyze and interpret data, writing manuscripts.
* Help supervise and train undergraduate students or other lab members.
